What counts as an agent?

An agent is one named identity that sends tool calls through Brakeproof, for example “billing-bot” or “claude-code” on a developer's machine. Each has its own policies, budget and history.

Do you charge per event or per tool call?

Never. Pricing is flat per plan with a fixed number of agents, so a busy agent does not produce a surprise bill.

Do I pay for AI usage?

Not to us. Brakeproof AI and red-team tests use your own Gemini, Claude or OpenAI key, so you pay your provider directly. Every red-team run has a budget cap, and you can set a monthly AI budget for your whole organisation.

Can I start for free?

Yes. The Free plan covers 2 agents with the action firewall, web approvals and one quick red-team test per month, with no time limit.

What does “coming soon” mean?

It means the feature is not built yet. Audit export, SSO, a self-hosted control plane, region pinning, the SLA and the MSP plan are on our roadmap. We show them so you can see where each plan is going.

Can we run it in our own cloud?

Your agents can, today: deploy them with the guard built in to Docker, Hugging Face Spaces or AWS ECS Fargate (beta). A self-hosted control plane for Enterprise is coming soon; talk to us if you need it.

How will the MSP plan work?

The MSP plan is coming soon. Managed service providers will pay $49 per client per month and manage every client's agents, policies and approvals from one console. Join the waitlist and pick MSP to hear first.

Are these prices final?

These are early-access prices. Waitlist members hear first about any change before a paid plan starts.
